Back again with a conversation - today on the Power of Now (as Eckhart Tolle would say).
A variety of things covered today with a mental health / overwhelm kind of spin. How can living in the now/presently help with some of that overwhelm or lack of discipline/structure? Help us to overcome those little debates/conversations that occur in the mind?
We end on the idea of living in the now to appreciate the beauty in every moment, I've been out on walks and spent the whole time planning/structuring/worrying about things in the future (in my head) and before you know it the entire walk has been and gone, and I didn't see or remember anything of that walk. Sometimes contemplative walking is useful, of course, but I think there is a great amount of peace/satisfaction from putting all other thoughts on the table and appreciating the very essence of now!
